Want to learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but don’t know where to start? Join 3 others in a structured 4 week program where you’ll learn the Fundamentals of BJJ in a series of group privates

Our experienced instructors will dedicate their focus to you and your development as you learn the foundations of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Learn effective foundational technique, get instant error correction, and have all your questions answered. This also keeps you safe as you’ll be under the watchful eye of our highly experienced and qualified instructors

We’ll take you from beginner to training and sparring with confidence!

Course details

  • Get 8 private group lessons over 4 weeks with our highly experienced trainers (valued at $560!)

  • Get FULL access to the gym (normally $25 p/w) to drill techniques you’ve learned, or roll with others to practice your newly learned techniques!

  • Learn the foundational concepts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, including positioning, transitions and submissions

  • Reach a sparring proficiency where you can confidently defend your position on the ground

  • Learn high-percentage submissions you can start applying right away

  • Learn how to stay safe and injury free while you train and practice

  • Learn how to avoid common pitfalls that beginners fall into when they start their journey

  • Learn about the background of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and its etiquette

Ariel Tabak | BJJ Brown Belt | High Level Competitor

Ariel Tabak (Ari) started his Jiu Jitsu career in Melbourne under Daniel Shaw at the age of 15. Since that time, Ari has trained throughout Melbourne and Sydney under a variety of coaches, however, he now dedicates time to regularly travelling internationally to train with world class athletes and under some of the best BJJ coaches in the world; such as Cicero Costha and Murilo Santana. Ari is a full-time athlete and versatile competitor with a goal to reach the top of his sport. He also has a degree in Physiotherapy, which has given him an in depth understanding of body mechanics and a unique approach to training and teaching. Ari has a keen eye for detail, and devotes a large amount of his time daily to studying technique - his vast technical knowledge is truly impressive.


Hope Douglass | BJJ Brown Belt | High Level Competitor

Hope Douglass began her martial arts training at a young age, and has now made an avid career for herself as a full-time athlete and international competitor. Hope travels regularly to train under some of the best BJJ coaches in the world, such as Cicero Costha and Murilo Santana, and has a resume full of international competitions. With a Cert III and IV in fitness and personal training, as well as years of coaching experience, Hope has an educated and well-rounded approach to training and teaching. She is actively involved in all levels of the BJJ scene, not only as a competitor and instructor, but also in her roles through her work with Australian Girls in Gi and as a tournament referee –IBJJF/AFBJJ/ADCC/GI/SUB ONLY.
